Through making the paper lotus lantern workshop, hosted by our loving teacher Tiffany McKenzie, it was a wonderful experience to get to know your community better. This was a great invitation to really know that person who's been practicing beside your mat, sometimes for months or years, as a human being, full of emotions and life experiences not unlike all others.
It is also a practice to infuse your intention into these flowers as a symbol. There is no right or wrong, just mindfully one petal at a time, to form your own lotus.
