HOW CAN I PREPARE BEFORE A SESSION?

  • Light vegetarian/vegan lunch no shorter than 4 hrs prior to the session please (this is a request, not a command. Please do what's best for your body.)

  • No mind/mood altering meds for 24 hours prior

  • Please have a journal and a pen with you to write down any thoughts discussed for post discussion/reflection.

  • Please wear comfortable clothing. The weather is unpredictable, think layers.

  • No contact lenses please, or you could remove it here before we start, and put them back on after we finish.

  • No perfumes/cologne/essential oil please.

 

AM I ASLEEP IN HYPNOSIS?

Some people believe that they are in a state of sleep while in hypnosis. In fact, quite the opposite is true. Our mind is three or four hundred percent more alert than in the normal state. Hypnosis has nothing to do with sleep.

 

HOW DO I KNOW IF HYPNOSIS WILL WORK ON ME?

Hypnosis is a 100% consent state. That means you have the ability to stop any suggestion from taking root by the slightest thought of rejection. As long as the subject’s IQ is above 70 and they agree to be hypnotized, they can go into a very deep level of hypnosis. The only thing that keeps a person from going into that beautiful state of physical relaxation and mental alertness is fear, or a misconception about what hypnosis really is.

 

WHAT IS ULTRAHEIGHT?

It is a hypnotherapy technique to expand your awareness outward, seeing through the eyes of one (microcosm), and experiencing the cosmic consciousness (macrocosm). The journey begins with a sense of deep rest to the physical body and conscious mind, and then guiding the subconscious mind upward on a path built with beautiful imagery. The journey will take us to the door of universal wisdom. To learn, and to listen. Come with questions prepared.

The only mental attitude that will cause the suggestion to be accepted is - I love the suggestion, and I know it is going to work for me! It opens up the subconscious mind and the gateway of critical factor, so the new programming can replace the old one, which no longer works. I will also repeat it often before and during the session.

WOULD HYPNOYOGA / HYPNOTHERAPY CONFLICTS WITH MY RELIGIOUS BELIEF?

The scientific approach to hypnotherapy is suitable for everyone, regardless of any personal religious beliefs.  As a guide, the well-being of each client comes first, it is a technique for healing, never for judgement.

WHAT IF I DON'T WAKE UP?!

It is true, people don’t really wake up from hypnosis, but that’s because hypnosis does not induce sleep, so there’s nothing to “wake up” from. The term is "to emerge" from hypnosis. If at anytime during the session you wish to emerge, all it takes is the thought that you do not want to be in hypnotic state anymore and instantly, the trance is over and you are back to your normal awareness.

WOULD I TELL YOU MY DARKEST SECRET?

Hypnosis heightens mental alertness, hence you are more in control of what you choose to do or say. If you don’t want to tell me something, then you won’t. If I was to ask you for information that was none of my business, you would simply tell me it is none of my business. No one can make you divulge information that you don’t want to share.

I WANT TO EXPERIENCE HYPNOSIS, BUT I DON'T HAVE ANY ISSUES. CAN I STILL BOOK A SESSION?
