About Yoga and Menopause Workshop
Every system in the human female is affected by the menopausal transition - from cognition and sleep to metabolism and body composition. Yoga cannot alleviate all the symptoms of menopause, but it can certainly play a fundamental role in how one approaches this exciting yet challenging time of life.
By attending this 2 hour workshop you will:
This workshop will begin with a discussion of the changes associated with menopause. We’ll explore ways to adapt asana to maintain healthy mobility and build strength, and learn breath and meditation protocols to promote better rest, recovery, sleep, and focus. We’ll also examine the philosophical concepts that can help improve self-image, dismantle limiting beliefs, and empower individuals as they cope with changing bodies, aging parents, work challenges and other midlife concerns.
