About Summer Shuddhi
Summer is the season of heat, motion, and outward expression — but without conscious care, it can leave us feeling scattered, chaotic, depleted, or overwhelmed. In the yogic tradition, summer is also a time to cleanse, slow down, and reconnect to our inner pitta, the fire and water elements that govern transformation.
In Sanskrit, Shuddhi means purification. In this 2.5-hour ritual workshop, we’ll explore classical yogic techniques to release what no longer serves us and renew our connection to clarity, vitality, and inner calm.
You will be gifted a neti pot and two eye-wash cups after the workshop, so you can start your daily practice with them.
This is a time to clear the inner clutter and soothe the inner heat — to pause, cool down, and make space for what truly matters.
Come as you are. All levels are welcome.
By attending this 2.5 hour workshop:
✔︎ Shuddhi Kriyas – including kapalabhati and an introduction to jal neti (or nasya), to cleanse the subtle and physical channels
✔︎ Cooling Pranayamas – such as sheetali , nadi shodhana, and bhramari to soothe pitta and calm the mind
✔︎ Gentle Asanas – focused on twists, forward folds, and grounding postures that support the body’s natural detox pathways
✔︎ Guided Meditation– to soften mental noise and guide you into deep stillness and inner spaciousness
✔︎ Journaling & Reflection – to anchor your experience and carry its insights into daily life
✔︎ Ayurvedic Tea & Closing Circle – to complete the ritual and leave you feeling light, held, and renewed
