About Discover Moon Salutation Workshop
We're all connected to the cycles of the moon. The moon impacts on us as it affects the Earth we live on, from the lengths of the day, to the daily tide changes, to the seasons of the year.
It is a very introspective practice, and promote connection to the higher aspects within us.
Moon Salutation (Chandra Namaskar) is a calming, yoga sequence that balances energy, reduces stress, regulates the water within us and promotes better sleep.
The purpose of Moon Salutations is to bring the practitioner’s attention inward to the ebbs and flows of the breath and the moon’s phases. The movement and breath work together to help ground the body and calm the mind.
Chandra Namaskar can open the path toward inner calm and balance the mind and body.
Join me to celebrate this May that offers us not one but two full moons this year!
Please bring your Yoga mat and props for the workshop (Yoga blocks and strap - public props also available in studio)
By attending this 1.5 hour workshop:
✔︎ Understand the Yoga postures (asana) for Moon Salutation (Chandra Namaskar) cycle.
✔︎ Experience each asana with proper alignment.
✔︎ Understand the proper breath designed for each asana
✔︎ Learn how to modify the asana for different level of mobility and strength
✔︎ Feel the flow of the lunar energy within the spine
