About the AyurYoga Winter Shuddhi Workshop

Ayurveda, the “wisdom of life,” offers a holistic approach to balancing the body’s many layers. When integrated with Hatha Yoga and Kriya (the active alignment and revitalization of energy), this practice supports the release of dis-ease and promotes deep restoration of health and vitality.

In this 2.5-hour workshop, we’ll focus on physical and mental relaxation, targeting the dryness and stagnation often accumulated during autumn and early winter. Through AyurYoga, we’ll help reawaken the digestive fire, soothe the nervous system, and restore inner balance.

Additional workshop highlights include:

Gua Sha Techniques – Learn simple, self-applied techniques for deep tissue stimulation and energetic release

Breathwork (Pranayama) – Practice guided breathing to cleanse, and revitalize

Deep Fascia / Yin Stretching – Ease muscular and nervous tension caused by colder weather

Ayurvedic Tea Ceremony – Close the session with a warming cup of Ayurvedic tea for inner nourishment and reflection

Join us for this grounding, seasonal practice to welcome winter with clarity, resilience, and restored vitality.

Please wear light, comfortable clothing (tank top & shorts recommended) to support Gua Sha application and body heat regulation.
