About Slowing Down with Meditation Workshop
The reality for many that begin meditation is that their minds have never been given an opportunity to slow down. Constantly stimulated by work, screens, responsibilities, expectations - leaving very little space to pause, reflect, or simply be. This go-go-go way of life can lead us towards a life of stress, anxiety, burnout, poor sleep, emotional reactivity, or unhealthy coping mechanisms.
This beginner-friendly workshop focuses on understanding why the mind is so busy and how meditation can help us slow down without needing to look for escape from life. The aim of this workshop is to introduce mindfulness and meditation as a practical tool for our overall health and well-being, to learn how to create space within the experience of thinking, feeling, and doing, allowing us to live life with more clarity, contentment, and compassion.
